You can't go wrong with South Ft. Myers... These Condos are pretty decent depending on what you are paying to stay? I prefer next door at Summerlin Woods... but again it depends on the cost. Most of these cookie cutter condos are similar inside, kept up very well and are definitely safe (area) PLUS you are just across the street (within walking ditance) of Lakes Park. Nice stroll over there.

We own in Summerlin Village and it is one of the best to stay at. We rent also, and have only great feedback.

When renting, be sure the condo isn't in jeopardy of foreclosing. Have your agent check to be sure the mortgage payments are current. There have been many renters here that don't do their home work and move into a home that is due to foreclose. No one wants to move twice. Good luck to you!
