Nowhere is perfect, nowhere. Of the whole SWFL area the 2 places I would live in is Estero(where I am now) and Cape Coral... The rest to me is blah. It's just the economy here right now is so depressing.

I was out on the canals they are refering to with the boat lift and there was zero trash and canals were all navigable.. This is only about one thing. There's a group in Matlacha that doesn't want Cape Coral boat traffic so they are trying to put up a barrier to limit it even though the science that was done by the dept of environmental protection showed that by installing the lift was not the best solution. and could do more harm than good.
