If you live in SW FL (Cape Coral, to be exact), who do you recommend for Cable, Internet and Phone? What are you currently paying?

I pay $149/mth for Comcast's triple play + HD + Movie and Sports package.....

Has anyone tried MagicJack? I read reviews, and I have to say, $19.95/yr sounds pretty awesome.

I have buyers ask me all the time, I give them a list of providers, but only have first hand knowlegde of Comcast.

Any opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks in Advance guys!

Ditto here, except we have Comcast phone and internet with DirecTV. We pay a bit more as we have Showtime and HBO, but there's really no competition to DirecTV for service, options, and broadcasting quality.

When the promotion is up tell them you want to cancel the service. Make sure they transfer you to the department that will "handle" that. They will at least offer you the best deal possible. At that point you can decide.

I still haven't installed any tv/internet/phone in our new home 'cos it is so frickin' expensive and we won't be there again until winter so it can wait a bit.

You colonials are being ripped off completely compared with comparable costs in Europe and our internet is way faster

Stand up and fight! Send in the Navy Seals!!!

London Guy,

With CenturyLink you can place your service in Vacation mode and charge is only $10 per month. You can do it as often as you like throughout the year. Just need to give them 48 hr notice.
