I'm looking for an honest air conditioning company that will service Naples (tried the Naples forum, but no responses there yet). Has anyone found a company that won't rip you off on repairs??

Thanks in advance.

ALERT AC...... I use them on my property where I work when I need them, they are GREAT!!! And they are not scammers.... 239-482-5547 tell them Chris at Estero Woods village referred you to them. I have been in FL for 18 years, used many AC companies, and these are the best guys(family owned and operated).

Quick question about A/C. We're renting a duplex that was built in 2002. The management company has us changing out the A/C filters every 30 days which we are doing. Due to the temperature changing a little bit, I've been manually adjusting the thermostat and it seems like when I turn it up, water drains out of the pipe coming from the A/C unit on the furnace in the garage. Sometimes it's a lot of water. Is this normal? TIA!

Yes it is normal. When you run the AC it acts as a dehumidifier and the water you are seeing is the moisture that is being removed from the air

We figured out that the primary drain was clogged with algae and it's the secondary one leaking in the garage instead of outside. Our neighbor was kind enough to clean the primary pipe out with his shop vac and now it's fine. He also said we don't need to change the filters more than every 3 months which I figured was the same as a furnace. Thanks for the response!
