No offense to the OP, I know you are trying to help others. But seriously this survey is a joke. There are 154,000 people in Cape Coral and this survey is based on the opinions of just 388 of those people which accounts for only .25% of the population. How can you write a 50 page report based on a survey of such a small group? Take what is written in that report with a grain of salt. It seems like the majority of those surveyed are miserable people.

Sorry if I burst your bubble, but surveys are like polls, sampling a cross-section of the population scientifically and generating a report that can be verifiable. Humans are a very predictable species. The raw data extracted from surveys is fairly accurate and dependable.

Depending on how this data is handled will result in good results or tainted results, you the reader has to decide...

I know what a survey is, but to base an entire report on a city of 154,000 people on the sampling of just 388 people in ludicrous and should be taken as such. Also, to say humans are very predictable is crazy. If we were the 6 O'clock News would be a much shorter program.

OK Billythepokerkid, thats your opinion.
What do you think about the survey does it shed a good light on Cape Coral or does it make the Cape look bad and what do you PERSONNALLY think of the Cape, favorable or unfavorable.

I didn't read the details of the survey. How were the 388 people selected? Or were they volunteers?

There were 1200 mailed out with 388 responded to.

I am kind of impartial to Cape Coral. It has it's pros and cons. The sampling to me just seems to low to be asking questions about quality of life and such. I also feel the way the survey uses the "benchmark" it makes Cape Coral look a lot worse than it really is.

Do you know if?
Off the 1200 were they all permanent residents or were there the part timers in it also.
Because if they sent them to people that do not live here full time that would totally invalidate the survey

It didn't say. It just said that it was sent to 1200 people with a 35% response of 388.
