PGI Homes (residential homebuilder) has a great website and their homes look nice but I've been able to find out almost nothing about them. If anyone has information (good or bad) about them, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

I would check out Ravenwood Homes. I hear they're very good. I do not know anything about PGI. www.ravenwoodhomesfl.com . They build super energy efficient homes and have a stellar reputation.

Default Thanks!

I need someone who actively builds homes in Punta Gorda but thanks for the suggestion. (I'm in the process of narrowing it down!!)

The only thing I know about PGI is that they built some very large, multi-million dollar custom homes in exclusive communities like Quail West in Naples. I don't know anything about their homes in Charlotte County, however. I'm guessing they're still very expensive, but I realize that's a relative term. You might want to post your question on the Sarasota forum for more responses.

Thanks, Nancy! (It's also on the Sarasota forum.) I've been surprised how little response I've had considering that they've built so many houses in SW Florida!

Send SoFLGaL on the Sarasota forum a DM regarding this builder, she may have more info for you. Just a thought.

Thanks! That's a good suggestion; I did so several weeks ago.

It's probably not as unusual as you think, Chucky. I mean, if this is the type of builder who specializes in custom homes, you're not talking about a lot of houses, especially if it's a local company. I knew someone who worked for one of the exclusive, custom builders in Naples, and they only completed 2 or 3 homes a year. Have you looked at London Bay homes? Not sure if they build in Punta Gorda.

You might want to tour one of the PGI models, if there's one available. I just looked at the web site you mentioned and clicked on "Estate Tours." Wow! Look at the home at 5502 Harbour Preserve Circle. We need to save this link for the next time someone says Cape Coral is a dumpy place.
