There is crime in every city in America. Just learn how to protect yourself and your belongings. A little common sense goes a long way. I have lived in big cities and real small towns. Crime in both. But I must admit I do sleep good with my 2 Rotweilers slepping by my bed and several guns under the bed loaded and ready. If you think it is so bad here was in Philadelphia last week, had to go to the not so nice part of town, there is not one place in all of South West Florida that even compares to that.

One thing that people with children should consider is the local sex offenders list.

now all the crime activities are controlled and very strict rules are fallowing to avoid this and thy succeded half to that.

I have left my car unlocked when I lived on Pelican Blvd... Not once was my car bothered.

Just remember if you leave your car unlocked and something does happen the insurance will not cover any damage because you left your vehicle unlocked.
