My parents rental in Fort Myers just fell through. They were to arrive Jan 1 and stay through Feb. They are on a limited budget, just need one bedroom. Would love to be close to beach.

If your parents are willing to go up to Charlotte or Sarasota County, I found 40 short term rentals in the MLS. However, some of them require a minimum of 3 months. You will find that in many of the deed restriced communities.

Ok...I will check those sites out a bit more. They think it's too cold to go to Sarasota. I will be there a bit this winter, and I think the temps there are great in the winter! No need for sweltering....just the sunshine is wonderful, but they feel differently! Thanks
