What kind of neighborhood is the area around Tice and Ortiz (Majorca Palms)??
I have been in different areas of Florida almost every year for the last 7 years but not the Fort Myers area. Is this area an acceptable neighborhood to live in or not, why? Thanks

Depends on your idea of acceptable. If you don't mind being broken into once a week, having a crack house next door, thugs wandering the streets at all hours of night, or carrying a gun at all times, then yes it's acceptable. If you are not into this type of stuff, then my advice is to stay away from this area.

On the corner of Tice and Ortiz - mobile homes for 95/ week.

My wife taught at Oak Hammock Middle School - I would not advise living there. Many of the students feared for their lives / were in gangs.
