I don't think I should have to pay as much as I do considering these things have been down since sept..
How did you find this place? I would never rent an apartment, sight unseen, unless it was a reputable place, and if it is reputable, it will have ratings online. What's the name of the complex? Worst case scenario, you only have to put up with it for 7 months.

I'm curious as to which complex you're in. As I've stated before, if it's Westwood, Westchase or any of those off in Winkler and Colonial or the Metro Pkwy area..you're in the ghetto and I suggest moving ASAP.

How do you know for sure that they are income based? And what city laws are they breaking? For someone who just moved here, you seem up to date on our city housing laws.

Florida statues? If you are talking about laws, constitutions, and stuff like that, it is statutes, not statues. Probably don't want to be calling around looking for Florida statues, you'll end up at a garden center or something instead of a lawyers office. Take a real good look at your lease and see what it says for these amenities. If it is not listed on your lease, unfortunately you are SOL.

What exact compliances are you referring to?
