I would not live there or buy, the Association sucks and there is a lot of break in's at Sail Harbor.
There is a lot of renters there and don't take care about the property.
Tropical Isles management Services really sucks.... if there is a problem they don't do a thing.
The Home owners dues are crazy , so if you still want to live there, "buyer be where".
I lived there for about 2 years and getting out of this crap hole.
The people that have dogs , don't pick up after there dogs, so there is crap all over. I told the management company about this and still they didn't to a thing...Sail Harbor is going down quick...
Let me tell you, a lot of the renter's look like they should be living in the hood, that what Sail Harbor is looking like.
And H-control really sucks big time- that's your cable. Is always going out all the time and never can get anyone to fix the problem. That's everybody that live's here.

Good luck to you....

Default Great Safe Living Arrangements

I have lived in Sail Harbour for over a year and LOVE it. It is secure with gates...yes two sets...one with drop down so you HAVE to know someone in here to get in. The cable is cable but I have wireless internet and NEVER have an issue. As far as people getting broken into...that happened once over a year ago...and the felon that lived in the area was booted when Tropical Isles took over. I am only a renter and I know that they were overpriced when the peak of the market when they were built, but they are competitively priced now and I can't imagine living anywhere else.

I just recently closed in Sail Harbour in March 2009, One of the worst decisions of my life, nothing but trouble from The Management Company Tropical Isles to their Accounting firm Spiro and Associates to their service provider H-Control. I received a notice in October that I owed 7000.00 on back HOA fees, which they failed to disclose, on their Estoppel letter, they've disconnected my services and have deactivated my gate access cards , I am in the process of filing my lawsuit, It is a beautiful place but poorly managed, and disorganized

Good Day Readers,

In regards to the responses from LBlanco and Spooky4044, for those that would like to get your questions correctly answered about Sail Harbour, I welcome you to contact me via phone or email with questions as the previous slandered responses are inaccurate. It is apparent there is a negative agenda by both lblanco and Spooky4044 against thier purchase at Sail Harbour.

Sail Harbor was bought up by a lot of investors who got stuck. So their competing with each other for what little renters are left by dropping prices, and we all know what low rent brings in besides good people on hard times...... A buddy of mine owns two in there. Can't give them away....

New topic - Chinese Dry wall. I know of 2 units that have been gutted within the past month. I have pictures of interior with exterior addresses to confirm. Does anyone else have any knowledge of this issue within the community?
