I'm looking for corned beef and cabbage, Irish music, bag pipes, a beer or two. I 'd like to stay in CC.

While not in CC the Celtic Ray in Punta Gorda is a very traditional Irish pub. I've never seen corned beef on their menu but the menu is all irish pub fare. The owner and some of the wait staff are from Ireland. Irish bands often play there and I am sure will be there for St Pat's. If you go do not try ordering an american beer. First you be laughed at and then told they only serve "proper" beers. They have a web site so you can google them.

So funny. That is where I decided to go yesterday. It was a lot of fun! Good entertainment (no bag pipes though) Killian Red beer, large serving of corned beef and cabbage. I will return there for sure.
Thanks all.
