Hi,

We are looking for a recommendation and possible cost for a service that removes bees live. We have a hive in a tree (about ten feet up) which we noticed while down in CC last Fall. The bees didn't bother us, in fact, I sat under the tree quite often while the bees did their thing. I'd hate to see the bees killed, but I believe it's best if they are removed. We are heading down again in a few weeks.
Thanks

I had a hive about 3 years ago when I was still a snowbird. A neighbor knew someone who came by and took it away for free. They were bee keepers and wanted the bees. The only problem is that another hive appeared on the same spot (on a wall light) about 3 months later. Then I used Irvin Pest Control. They took care of the problem without me being there. The bees never returned. I think it was $80 but don't quote me.

Thanks Riko, found someone today that will take of it tomorrow for free. In fact, he said he will bring us some honey when we come down.
