I recently ran into some car trouble which resulted in me getting it "fixed' at a sears autocenter shop. To make a long story short, I ended up paying $640.56 just to get it functional again. It turned out that my problem stemmed from a radiator leak which wasn't fixed when I got the car back.

They used Stop Leak to temporarily prevent leakage to buy me some time to fix it. On another thread in the automative forum a couple users told me that fixing it could range from $450 - $2000 if I go into a shop to get it fixed.

Obviously I'm hoping to get it done closer to the $450 mark. I just need to find a good auto repair shop to perform the fix/replacement, so if anyone knows of a good reputable shop let me know. I'd prefer to get the radiator fixed asap to avoid this mishap again.

Thanks

for an older vehicle and a problem like that I would try to contact a junk yard see if they have a radiator for the expedition, see if they can swap it out for you. It is not a hard job at all.
