The pictures on this site are great!!!! Can't wait. I am just concerned the parking is going to be a night mare.

I think most are, including the owners. At least season is over, so that should help in the short term. Sounds like they could try valet parking, but where on earth would the valets put everyone? It has the real potential to be a mess.

Nice pictures. Glad I can walk to the beach from my home. They also want a lot of boaters. Where are they going to dock? The town has no money or vision on this parking problem. If you build it they will come is there thought. I just think too many are going to come. If they start charging to park like everywhere else that could thin it down for a while and they would make more money since that is there goal in the first place.

There is plenty of boat parking along the seawall by passed the fuel station. I'm guessing they will have a shuttle to the parking lots on Driftwood Pkwy.

I can park along the seawall at low tide in my Boston Whaler but not my cruiser. I can't see the shuttle system being free for very long with a town that has no spare money. They tried a trolly once before it cost a lot of money and failed. But your thought is what there thought is most likely. I will stick to walking or biking it is much easier. Either way it looks much better than before. I hope it opens soon and works out for everyone.

How deep is the water there at low tide Fiege? I was thinking the restaurant would provide the small shuttle, like a large golf cart that seats 6 or 7.

I would guess 2 feet or less it is very low. They have signs all along the seawall area that tells you about the low water level beware at low tide. I have only walked the area a lot and bought gas at high tide. It is a lot deeper right buy the gas pumps. My Whaler only draws 8 to 10 inches it can go anywhere.

Cool carts. I would jump on that for a ride.

Folks have complained about the wake there, even while getting gas. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
