I'm thinking of having our 26ft boat brought down from the Chicago area. Does anyone have any experience having a boat transported? A recommendation of a company & an idea of cost would be really helpful.

I have shipped a 27 foot 8.6 wide. The boat required no special permits. It cost 900.00 last year. It came from mo to the cape. They damaged the railing. It was from vibration going down the highway. They also forgot to take the drain plug out and caused the boat to become a pool when it rained a lot. I did a car a few years ago and they damaged the front bumper. I would not ship another.

I have used Diversity Transport a few times to move my boat down to fish tale marina from Ohio. Never any issues or problems. Try Brannon at 574.285.4844. Tell them Donnie Baker sent you. Good luck and good fishing!
