Does any Apartments in Fort Myers, Cape Coral let someone rent with a non violent felony?

I suggest you call first...I can't guarantee that they will be upfront with you, but ask anyway. Also, check out their websites because a lot of them give you detailed info of their qualifications.

Your best bet is to find a private landlord who will listen to your 'story' and is the one making the decision on your application.

I totally agree with Kim. Although, as I mentioned in another thread, I have no criminal record, some of my neighbors in Bonita Springs did, but the owner of the duplex I lived in for years didn't seem to care as long as they paid the rent on time.

You started another thread, so I didn't know it was a non-violent felony. Anyway, you might be able to find a nice place if you call private owners and meet them in person. As I said in my other post, driving around and looking for "Apartment For Rent" signs is a good way to find a place unless you're looking for a pool, clubhouse, etc.

Have you applied for a Certificate of Eligibility to the FDLE to have your record sealed or expunged? I don't know much about this process, but I think Florida offers this to non-violent felons.
