By march, is a solar heated pool warm enough to swim? 15x30 pool. I know without specific information this is difficult, so just in general. By warm enough, I mean at least 75 degrees.

You might get there. This year, being warmer than normal should do it. I heard the gulf waters are that warm. As a matter of fact, I removed my solar cover the last 3 weeks because of it being so warm. I have a pool heater though. Get ready to take a dip.

I don't have a pool heater, and mine is already at 78 degrees. It's smaller though, 12 x 22. Don't know much of a difference that makes. I have a solar blanket, but rarely use it.

89 degrees with solar and no cover. This year is warmer than normal. It usually takes a couple more weeks to be this warm. It will always be over 75 in March though.

Thanks. I should have explained we are looking at renting a place for the month of March 2016. Really like one with a solar heater, but do want to use the pool so that is why i was asking. From your responses, should be ok. If its on the cooler side, i can always float.

We had solar panels installed about three years ago, couldn't be happier. As long the daytime temp isn't in the 60's and nights in the 40's pool is warm enough as long as you keep it covered at night & it's sunny. Btw we like the water in the mid 80's.

my solar heater kept the pool like bath water. The sensor is broken so its either "on" or "off". It was awesome
