my house is on well water. it goes through an outdoor filtration system then comes into the house with a reverse osmosis system under kitchen sink and another filter in refridgerator. the end product is pretty good. but in the bathrooms sometimes the water can have a sulfur taste when brushing teeth which usually tells me it is time to clean the aerator or make the outside systems cycle closer together.

Is also pretty gross if the house has been sitting for a couple months, you have to really purge out the pipes and drain the system.

I rented for one year in Cape Coral the house was on city water and it was the worse I have ever had (except for India maybe.)

Don't know what the problem is but I doubt if is hooked up to recycled water. The water all over S.W.F. is awful.

Florida water by its nature is pretty bad - it's not just here in SWFL. Just try Orlando water....that's even worse!

Some FL water is pretty good. Miami and surrounding area has great water. But, yeah.... FL water in most areas is pretty bad tasting.

I use one of these under sink water purifiers. I did not use the cheap "faucet" it comes with. I just hooked it directly to my refrigerator. The water tastes great with Cape Coral city water. I was raised on NYC water that rates very high in taste. It is a reverse osmosis system that does not waste any water.
