Thanks everybody for the feedback, I appreciate it! We finally found our leak, it took a while but Colonial pools in Fort Myers did a really good job and stuck with it until we got it resolved and didn't charge us any more than the original $300 Leak Detection charge. They thought it was the skimmer as well but after putting in a temporary pipe to bypass the skimmer it was still leaking below the skimmer line. Turned out it was in the spa and we now have gone 10 days without having to add water thank goodness! Take away from the whole thing is don't agree to the first repair that is suggested since they were going to charge us $1,200 to replace a skimmer. The punch line of the whole thing is that the technician from the company says he uses his irrigation water to fill his pool and he has no problem with it! I'm glad we didn't have to, might as well just suck it out of the canal at that point, right?

Part of the irrigation water does come from the canals. The rest comes from your toilet. Interesting Idea to use a bypass for the skimmer to see if it still leaks.
