My family of 4 is moving to Ft Myers from out of state in the next couple of months as my husband just accepted a position at FGCU. We are needing daycare for my 3 year old and 5 year old. (yes, I know 5 years is the kindergarten age but we are choosing to delay until she's 6). We are hoping to live West of the University. I've looked at places like Milestones Learning Center. We'd be interested in a similar place. Preferably non-sectarian. I've run several searches on previous threads for daycare and have come up short. Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks in advance!

I just did a google search on “daycare near 33967” and got a list of places in that area as we built near Bass Pro which is close in my view to the university. I think you would also need to factor in commute time from your hime-daycare-FGCU to see what works for you as working folks will have to deal with all the working commuters vs. us soon to retire folks not overly concerned with rush hour traffic. Keep in mind and ongoing or new conctruction going on and how that will impact the quailty of life you sek.

Good luck.
