I was looking at a new home in Bonita Springs (Valencia Bonita). I was told that I should figure on about 1.7% of the purchase price for taxes. How is that possible? The tax rate for Lee county is about 1.145% according to the county website. Am I missing something? 1.7% seems very high.

1.15% is the real number to use

Thank you. That seems more reasonable.

We also bought at Valencia Bonita after seeing several GL communities on the East Coast. Even though we don't know a soul there we fell in love with the area. We also have Ryan Johnston who has been unbelievably helpful. He answers questions immediately. Doing this long distance is kind of stressful but between Ryan and Lisa things seem to be progressing. We just got word that our home is going to be staked in September. We have a trip planned in October so we can see the samples as well as our lot. We have purchased a Chandon model and can't wait to see that sample. We know people who bought on the East Coast and they all speak highly of GL. So yes, we too took the plunge. A little scared but excited at the same time.

So sad about this hurricane. I wonder what this will mean for Valencia Bonita in the near as well as long term.

Just went by Valencia Bonita and they are working. A few trees are knocked over but, the landscape crew was working too.

Hello!

We got up our nerve and took the plunge from Long Island, New York!

We purchased the Chandon, and we're ver excited about our purchase!

We are coming down in October to see the models for the Grand Opening!
We haven't finished designing either.

We also have Ryan as our Sales Rep. -

We are making the transition from New York!

We bought the Chandon - and agree Marbella is more for families.

Hope to see our future residents at the Grand Opening in October for the new models.
