Question: garage door repair/ replace. from my tenant: """door has seized and will need to be replaced as it is un operational at this time. Please review and advise if we can move forward""""
suggestions? repair? replace? cost?
recommendations?

Do you know what has actually seized ? Does the door have an automatic opener ? If so, you can decouple the door from the track overhead and see if it will manually open by hand. If you can, please post back what exactly is happening with it.

good advice !


The motor also may have blown a fuse - that has happened to me before - check panel and the unit itself. I would also try to unplug it and see if it has a re-set...


Sounds stupid, but did you check the remote?? batteries? LOL



Also, did the codes on the remote accidentally re-set? try re-programming the remote, follow instructions
