I am a single girl in my late 20s looking at a potential job in Ft. Myers. I was wondering what are the best neighborhoods for someone my age to live in? i know that there is not much nightlife there, and I am ok with that. I am currently living in NYC and am originally from texas. I am open to buying, but I don't want to buy something right off the bat and end up hating the neighborhood.

Any recommended restaurants/bars/etc that you can throw my way would be greatly appreciated as well!

Thanks!

Cape coral is right next to Fort Myers really. Its like literally part of FM. It is a good place safer in my book. But if you get into a good gated community in FM you'll be good. The downtown area of FM has bars around but if your young you may want to seek out SW college area bars. Since your from NYC this place will seem not so bad to you. We came from a small town in Iowa a few yes ago big change for us. Youll love the winters here.

One post - seven years ago. Think she's still waiting for suggestions?

Cape Coral is Cape Coral; Fort Myers is Fort Myers, They are NOT literally "like" a part of each other.

I'm guessing after all this time she either moved here, stayed there or fell off the planet.
