Fort Myers & Boca Grande.....easy access by car for activities? Any other places I should check out, must-see things to do? Plan will consist mainly cultural...parks, beach, museum, shopping, and eating. Have two months to plan. Suggestions welcome.

siesta key beach (the sand is awesome) venice beach (look for sharks teeth) Sanibel Island Bowman beach (seashells everywhere no condos in the back drop very natural shoreline).
Shopping: Coconut point mall in Estero
Boating: find a captain that will charter you and small group out for a day on the water to fish, nature tour, maybe hit a couple islands that are only accessible by boat (Cayo Costa) Some island restaurants such as Cabbage Key Inn, Green Flash (Sanibel), The boat house grille (cape coral), Marker 92 (cape coral) rumrunners (cape coral) Lazy Flamingo (bokeelia).
Golfing; Plenty of it
Took me 2 hours and 40 mins to drive to Disney. a day in Epcot and night in downtown Disney is a fun filled day.
April after Easter is a great time of the year to go. a lot of the snowbirds are gone, weather pattern hasn't changed to the high humidity summer rains . Water quality is usually at it's best.
