We were introduced to Immokalee farmer's market. Get a whole lot of produce for cheap.

My tax burden in florida is 1/10th of what it is in Mass. Maybe for low wage earners that rent, life is equal but for homeowners that are higher wage earners there is no comparison in the tax burden... oh wait there is a comparison florida is #47 and Mass is #23 and most of the northeast is in the top 5. The higher unemployment is correct , i suppose the crime. but what does either of those have to do with this thread?

I hate to disagree with you, Chris, but I love, love, love Florida produce. And I absolutely despise California oranges. In fact, if anything is from California I will not buy it. There have been far too many sick people because of California products, although it really can happen anywhere.

I was really ticked off when I got to Florida and had a hard time getting Florida oranges in Orlando. SwFlorida is a lot better about that.

To this day, here in TN, I go out of my way to only buy Florida produce. Yum! I will buy local, though, especially tomatoes. The tomatoes in MA and NY are vile, mealy and disgusting. Yuck.
