Quoting Denny Grimes "SEPTEMBER PENDING SALES SET RECORD". Here are just a few statistics and observations from his article: "Lee County's existing home market has steadily improved each quarter this year and the third quarter is no exception. Our third quarter pending sales were 41% higher than 2006 and 140% higher 2007. If this year finishes as projected, it will become the third best year on record for the number of homes sold. REO's (bank-owned properties) accounted for 44% of last month's sales, which is slightly higher than the 42% private owner sales. Only 14% of the pending sales were short sales. Despite what you read, banks still have money to loan, even if the government is running out of it".
Well, opportunity is knocking!! Don't miss the boat.

I read it also. They have home prices very cheap here right now. New homes never lived in for around the $100000 range. In my opinion they will not get much cheaper and no I am not a realtor or are any of my friends.

Hmmmmmm, something sounds "fishy" here. Keep in mind, a "pending" sale is just that, pending. Let us know how many of these deals actually "close". With the availability of mortgage dollars kinda tight right now, I'm willing to bet some of those deals are lost, unless they are being bought with cash euros......a likely scenario.
