Hi. Just wondering if anyone has any insight on what jobs are like down in Cape Coral, FL. I will be moving from Minnesota with a Bachelors Degree in Business. I currently make $20/hr and I have a feeling its going to be hard to make anywhere near that when I make the move.

Also, is there any places to meet other people my age? I am in my early twenties and am worried I won't be able to meet any fun people to hang out with!

Thanks everyone!

You answered your own question where I made it bold. Cape Coral is very dry right now when it comes to work. I just moved from there a month ago. Retail, part time is about it. You may want to broaden your horizons. Look in Tampa, Tallahassee, Orlando, the big cities.

Cape Coral, and all of SW Florida is not the place to be right now. Hardly any new work available at all. Trend seems to be, people that have work, are slowly getting picked off to lay offs and business failures. No new jobs to replace what is being lost. A shrinking economy here.
Our new slogan......"SW Florida, a nice place to visit, but virtually impossible to live here"
