yeah, i was just pullin your chain! sometimes on the 'net, it is hard to tell what one means (when being sarcastic). i used to get mad at nirvanaguy and needs_affordable_home b/c they were always negative, but it turns out, they were actually kind of funny.

ps- i was at the bubble room a couple days ago. love captiva and sanibel, but ft myers....not so much.

The Bubble Room is fun and actually has great food. I think Sanibel is nice, but I would never go back there on vacation. I think it is so much better than Fort Myers Beach, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Cape Coral.

Still, I'd rather be in Bermuda!

I see you are getting sick of Orlando. I lived there from 1996 to 1998 and liked it. It had crime. More than I was used to, but I was used to little to none. I can't believe what has happened to it, but it doesn't really surprise me. You could kind of seeing it going that way, even back then.

Do you know where I like in Florida? Everglades City. It's just REAL old Florida. I know there are other places like that, I just never got to visit them.

st augustine!!! the best town in the u.s.!!!

yes, i love fla, but not orlando. atleast, not anymore. too much crime, although far from us, it still wears on you. and i feel terrible for the victims (although most of the murders are criminals killing criminals --- drugs, gangs, etc...) trying to move northward towards st augustine/ponte vedra, or perhaps amalia island/fernandina bch area. i have heard great things about both areas. coming from orlando, these places (crime-wise) will probably seem like nothing. i heard that orlando passed miami and memphis in crime index. sucks b/c minus the crime and traffic, orlando is a pretty nice city. just too much crime.
