Hi. I'm looking for a good, honest mechanic in the Fort Myers area...willing to drive a bit if need be. When i arrive i need to get some tire and possible break work done.

thanks for any suggestions!

Basics like tires and brakes.... Johnny Myer's on Fowler, Ft Myers, or DeHays automotive on Broadway, just off San Carlos Blvd on the way to Ft Myers Beach. Both been around a long time, and very reputable.

My first thought is...for $13.00 I could almost do my own oil change, unless it's a diesel. I understand where youre coming from, I'm pretty particular what my dog gets fed also, which is why I do my own changes, (and all work, that I have tools for). Think you'll have to ask around on that one, when you get here. But I dont see it as an unreasonable request.
