There are plenty of indoor activities on those rainy days too. Also, unless it is an electrical storm, it's safe to enjoy outdoor activities in the rain.

The nice thing about summer is that you see more wildlife because of the rain.

To people who live in small states like Rhode Island, keep in mind that FL is a very long state. Yes, it's mostly hot & humid everywhere, but one area can be experiencing the effects of a bad hurricane while another is calm & sunny.

If you want a guarantee, go to Aruba. I've been there 3 times and it never rained, although it was cloudy in June. (or May, can't remember..too busy having fun at the casino! lol)

YES!

It is important to be very clear about that. I once had a snowbird say he marvelled at the weather forecasts when he went home. It always said "RAIN" over Florida. He wanted to know how we could stand weeks of solid rain.

Up in New England, often, when they say "RAIN" they mean all day. In Florida, it could be five minutes, and often it is.
