Does anyone know of a reasonably priced pool maintanance person who will actually show up and keep our pool clean?? I have heard enough excuses from our current one! Our home is in the Collingswood area of Port Charlotte. Thank You!

Not sure if you found one or not but, try Kevin Hippchen pools. I love them and the owners do all the work themselves. VERY nice people to work with.

there's nothing to maintaining a pool. I've been doing it for 9 years without any experience. Buy a navigator automatic pool vac, $250 to $350 cost, lasts about 5 to 7 years using it prolly 3 weeks a month every month (and yes I know that is overkill but i'm lazy so i leave it in more than needed) add one half a jug of chlorine every saturday and take samples of your water to the testing store where you buy your chemicals from every couple of weeks or so. So thats $10 a month for chlorine, roughly $6.00 a month for auto vac usage, thats $16.00 a month so far. Maybe add another $5.00 a month for those times when you'll need other chemicals???? What is a going rate for a guy to do it for you $70 to $80 a month?????? If you have the time it is really easy! Unless you just don't want to be bothered with it.
