Can anyone recommend a reliable pool / lawn service company (with a reasonable price)?

My suggestion would be to check the Better Business Bureau website for company reports. I've found this to be a useful approach to find reputable companies in any line of work.

I've been very happy with the Pool Dr..........different story on lawn care. The company I've been using scalps the lawn so they don't have to do it as often. They charge extra to maintain the sprinkler system ,but when I arrived,I found 8 sprinkler heads that were not working due to being covered with silk.....also paying for fertilizer and bug control and I still have large spots of dead grass.
I suggest you check with neighbors and get a recommendation.

How much are you all paying for lawn service?

My guy does it for $35/mth during the winter(every two weeks he cuts) and $70/mth for a weekly cut once rain season gets here. I am on a corner lot, so I have more to cut than the average. He also does the limp removal from my Arecas, sprays for weeds in my flower beds, weed wacks, blows the clippings and one time he mulched my entire garden for just the cost of mulch.
I had two companies before do it. One charged $95/mth, and scalped my lawn the first cut and then it died. As trump would say "you're fired". And the other charged $80, and didn't weed wack or blow the clippings off my sidewalk/driveway.

DM if you want his info.
