Better than God giving the animals dominion over us. We would all be dinner for them.

No, actually a lot of animals are herbivores. And animals kill to survive, not for sport and certainly not for financial gain.

We are dinner to some animals. We've just learned to stay out of their path. Well, the smart ones have, which brings us to natural selection...

You ought to pick up one of the Darwin Awards books. They are sad and hilarious at the same time.

We are also supposed to protect our children, but it doesn't mean we have the right to abuse them.

So many people point to the Bible when talking about eating/killing animals, but they forget that before Adam and Eve sinned, they were living in a garden eating fruit. In Genesis it says that they were allowed only to eat the plants in the garden. Supposedly after the great flood, all the plants were destroyed, so humans were given permission to eat animals.

So, basically, the Bible teaches that we were created to be herbivores, but after the fall of mankind, we began eating meat.

My dog Gia couldn't agree with you more. We need to take good care of our animals.
