Well, it's been over a week since my first phone interview, and I haven't heard a peep. However, it's only been 4 WORKING DAYS since my interview due to Memorial Day. I've still got my fingers crossed, but they are starting to cramp up! LOL!!

Unhappy No Job, No Move to SW FL

Hi SW FL - I never heard back from Chico's and have since seen that position reposted on the job boards. In fact, now that I think back, Chico's ALWAYS has corporate positions posted on the job boards. Maybe they have a turnover problem?? Oh well, the hunt continues.....

Sorry to hear that, and it may be my Irish upbringing but NEVER discuss a job until you have been hired. Considered bad luck.

Good luck in your job search. I think it is awful that companies today don't get back to people who have interviewed at their company.

I can remember when they would send you a turn down letter, seems today there is no longer any basic common courtesy.

She didn't. She was on the Knoxville forum not that long ago but as far as I know she is still in Georgia. I looked it up and she was recently on the Charlotte forum, too. She's been looking for a job for quite some time and never with any success.
