I've been on here a bit over the last couple of years, mostly to get a pulse for prices, good neighbourhoods and things to do. Like many people, I'm still working and will be for the next 3 years. But we did buy a home in Estero almost a year ago and simply love it. We get down here 5 - 6 times per year from Canada. We are amazed how friendly people are and how much they try to help "part-timers" like my wife and I figure things out. We have received some great advice from people we have come to know.

Hi, we spent the past weekend looking from Naples to Ft Meyers. Kind of liked West Bay in Estero. We would buy now as a vacation home and move there in about 10 years. Please share any more incite into the area if you can.
