Hi! Where are the Hispanics in Ft. Wayne? I travel to Ft. Wayne 3 times per week to the Jefferson Pointe area and come from the north, am I totally in the wrong area? Thanks!

Well, there are not a ton of Hispanics in Fort Wayne. I mean, it isn't a heavily concentrated area for them to live at, unlike some other Indiana cities. With that being said, you would more than likely find Hispanics anywhere in the city, not a specific place. However, I think you would have a better chance of seeing them in the southern and northern part of the city, closer to downtown. Why do you ask?

There is a large concentration of immigrants from different countries on Calhoun as you head south of downtown.

There are quite a few Hispanic-owned business on Calhoun, south of downtown, and Wells, directly north of downtown.

According to the 2010 Census, Hispanics only comprise 7.9% of the population in Ft. Wayne.
