I am not sure if you read my last thread but I am a recent college graduate and decided to start a life here. I went to a Lutheran Church growing up and my Fiance went to a Methodist but the past 4 years, we haven't gone to Church unless we were with our families on a holiday. We are looking for a friendly church to be part of that will welcome us. We both are comfortable with Methodist and Lutheran. We would just like to find the right one for us.
We would prefer one in Fort Wayne, one who isn't totally strict and full of friendly people. We are not married yet but live together. We also do not have any children. We are in our lower 20's too.

We really want a place where we will fit in.

Thanks!

I hear Messiah Lutheran, ELCA, is open. It is on the north side of town.

This is true. They are always looking for younger people. The later service at 11am has the younger crowd.

I'm not in Indiana, but keep in mind that the ELCA (of which I'm a member) and the Methodist Church differ very widely now on gay rights, if that's important to your beliefs.
