I loved my time in Fort Wayne, I spent 5 yrs there on my return from over 24 years in SW Florida. Loved it with the exception that it was a tad too far from my family, which is why I find myself back in Elkhart. I would certainly consider a move back there again!

I've posted a lot about Fort Wayne over the past 3 years. I recommend searching upon my previous posts to learn a bit more about it, and perceptions learned over the last 7 years my wife and I (and children) have been here.

A quick recommendation for you is to look at homes in the 46804 and 46814 zip codes (the southwest part of Fort Wayne). The public schools there are excellent. If you would like a realtor suggestion, let me know (message me) as I've a friend who might be able to help you out. If you have any other questions about Fort Wayne, start up a new thread - this forum is friendly and will help you out.

Good luck with your move and welcome to Fort Wayne :-)
