Just wondering if anybody here is planning on attending the Vera Bradley outlet sale in Ft. Wayne this year, and what's your opinion on how it's been evolving?

Is the Ft. Wayne VB outlet the only one even remotely close to Elkhart? I love VB...when and where is the sale? Gee, I'd hate to drive 2-3 hrs. for a sale!

Thanks!

Yes, they usually only have the outlet sale in Ft. Wayne, but every now and then they have held them in a couple of others places--I think one was in Charlotte or Atlanta, neither of which is any closer for you!

If you check out their site, you can get some deals as good as the outlet sale. I 've been to a few of the sales, but I haven't gone the last couple of years. Now they're changing things so you only need to spend $5 to buy stuff, a much better deal than buying tickets from Ticketmaster or scalpers for 10 times the face value of the tickets. Of course, you don't even need to spend $5 if you go on other days when it's open to the public.

If you love VG, it's lots of fun to go!

Nearly 9 in 10 of my female customers have VB bags these days... I don't think I've ever seen anything quite as popular with young to middle aged women. Truth be told of those asked, at least 8 in 10 of those ladies bought their bags during one of the massive VB sales events. I must wonder is it good marketing to hold such massive sales events, or is profit potential cut too much by them?

I live in VA and work for Yankee candle, and we sell Vera Bradley, I love it my hubby just bought me the weekender in Java Blue, and I just bought a wallet, and a large hipster in java blue. It is very popular here in Virginia also. We just had a huge truck load sale about a week ago.

When is the Vera Bradley sell and what do you have to do to go there? Do you have to buy tickets... and is it worth it?
