Hello,

We are looking at moving to Fort Wayne this summer. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on finding a good Catholic school in the area. We have 4 children & I've found it difficult to find any helpful info online for Catholic schools in/around Ft. Wayne. Any pros or cons would be helpful!

Thanks!

I would venture St Joseph/ St Elizabeth for elementary- middle and Bishop Dwenger HS. Several Catholic friends and these are the preferred schools, not to say that others are not good. But I believe these are the preferred.

There are 2 catholic high schools in Fort Wayne. Bishop Dwenger is north and Bishop Luers is south. I have heard that both are very good!. At the elementary level, I have heard good things about St. Charles (NE), St. Vincents (far North), Queen of Angels (N), and St. Jude (NE).

Default St. Vincent's...

St. Vincent's school is really good. We go to chuurch there and we have several friends who send their children there. In fact, in our neighborhood, there are several who carpool together. It is located NW Fort Wayne. It is one of the reasons we picked this location because it gave a great opportunity to be close to both St. V's and the excellent public schools.

Default St. Vincent's

If you are interested, I can get you the names and numbers of several families whose children attend there and you can ask them about it...

St. Vincent's is highly recommended. I love that area as well, with plenty of housing to choose from. Beautiful area.

St. Charles is also a good school, though I think they only go to 8th grade.
