We are moving to Euless in a few weeks and have found that internet is basically provided by AT&T. Their customer service took forever and they want an outrageous amount to set up. What other service providers do you have out there? We just want internet, no phone or cable.

Somewhere in Western Euless is the boundary between Time Warner and Charter, both can provide internet only service. You will need to verify which one will service you via their websites. Another option might be Clearwire (Clearwire Corp - Home). Just curious, what was the "outrageous" amount that they quoted you for installation?

walk into an ATT phone store--some of them can do Uverse service/info as well
they can often make you a better deal on setting up service than ATT online can do
and you can check Internet ATT offers as well
ATT has NO one price fits all callers policy...

ATT wanted 150$ for a digital wired modem to start service, and would not let me use my own wireless modem. But i think i will have to go with them anyway - Neither Charter nor Time warner service mt address

Where you say your wireless modem do you mean you actually have a modem you want to use or is it a wireless router? Once they've installed their modem and leave you should be able to CAT5 from that modem to your wirelessrouter...

As an option to the suggestions from robbob340, you might look into a third party ISP/Datalec such as Speakeasy dot net and Covad.

Covad is a data provider. DSL is really just data transfer. Covad would do the same thing as the ATT data portion, or TimeWarner or whoever. Covad (or other 3rd party) actually leases the copper pair (phone line) from ATT and then the ISP - Speakeasy dot net provides the ISP. So it's an internet setup only. Speakeasy charges you and in turn they pay Covad or other 3rd party data lec (local exchange carrier - phone business). Unless your area is uVerse. Fiber services are exempt from the FCC's sharing regulations.
