Does anyone have any recommendations for an attorney that is trained in collaborative law for the divorce process? The collaborative law is different that going through the normal divorce process and fighting it out in court.

I've looked online, but wondered if anyone had any experience with this process and with any attorney recommendations.

Thanks!

unfortunately my son had to get divorce earlier this year--he used someone who had been to law school with good friend of his--also attorney but not familiar with divorce--
she was maybe like what you describe--they had no children and no real assets so they both used her--filed uncontested divorce...

I don't remember her name -- but she works in Dallas I think

Moderator cut: too new to make specifc recs - read the TOS . Both were in FW. I interviewed several and found that most collaborative attys are in the mid-cities. I didn't want to drive that far to all the meetings we would have to attend. Moderator cut: not allowed
