my husband is not looking forward to going to work that week in Sundance Sq
but it IS nice that after being ignored for the NBA process that FTW will get some nice nods during the build up
lots to do in FTW and it is picturesque...

Why? It's not Dallas' bid, it's North Texas' bid. Fort Worth deserves this as much as Dallas does. Because of DFW's layout (many different cities competing against each other), each city is trying to get a piece of the pie. Dallas got a big one with the NFL Experience going to the Dallas Convention Center, but Fort Worth got a big one with the constant exposure from ESPN. Fort Worth is about to be exposed almost 24/7 for two weeks because of ESPN.

The only reason ESPN chose Fort Worth, because they had space for the stages.

Prove it, because you act like Downtown Dallas and areas around it don't have plenty of surface lots to use.

"ESPN has a large footprint," Burklund said. "They need a lot of office space and parking near where they are shooting. Logistically they had a hard time finding it all together here, where they did find it all together there."
