What is an average rent for an upscale house, 2 Br/2BA, around 1000 sq feet, in a nice area?

"upscale", and "nice" are two variables that might have different POV depending on the individual giving the info

you can pay 1200 a month for 3/2 in Bedford that would be fairly nice
and more than that in upscale area of Dallas or FTW--

check realtor.com--there are rentals posted there
the area NORTH of Airport Frwy in the Mid-Citie area--Hurst/Euless/Bedford/NRHills is considered more desireable and "better" in general--within that usually the newer the home the better the area
in FTW itself--the area around Hulen/Benbrook
around TCU
those would be areas to check out

you are correct. When I say "upscale", I am refering to a home consisting off granite countertops, wood floors, stainless appliances, etc.
