My daughter graduated from Boswell...and, she loved it! She did VERY well when she did attend (we moved in the middle of her high school life). She graduated a year early...and, the teachers helped her greatly to accomplish this. The only complaint she ever had was how run down the school was in certain areas, and they had a problem with rats. However...they are now in the middle of a total renovation, and have added onto the school. Hopefully this will help a GREAT deal (it better, our taxes are paying for this! LOL!). There is a new high school now being built that is in the EM-S ISD...it is right across the street from Tarrant County College. I'm not exactly sure what the zones will be for the attendance...but, it is needed since this area had a growth of 125%!! Since there are dual-credit classes available at TCC...I have a feeling that TCC will work with this new high school to cater to more students. They just started building earlier this year...so I'm unsure when they will open up. There will also be a technical high school as well (or career center high school...something like that).

I don't know much about Saginaw High...but, I do know the traffic by it is horrendous at 4 p.m.! LOL!

Good luck!

I have no personal experience with the high schools in this area, other than hear say...which has been to stay on the "Bos side of the tracks"....however I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with living in a neighborhood with Bos coaches and alumni, lol Good luck in your decision, wish I could be more help!

Txart, thanks for the heads up about the new high school, I had no idea! We are still several years from the high school years, but it'll be interesting to see how the zoning changes. We're closer to Boswell, but those zoning lines can get crazy sometimes!
