Interesting article, since Westlake shares the same zip code as Roanoke, it always flew under the radar. The word is out. Read on

Westlake never flew under the radar for anyone who knew about it--
it has always been an exclusive area and one that views itself that way and wants to keep it that way
I guess more people out of the area started to hear about it when Fidelity moved its headquarters there and/or when the Jonas Brothers bought their house there

Westlake is a Fort Worth suburb not Dallas!

unfortunately Fort Worth is the area that is really "flying under the radar" since Dallas seems to be the only town in the DFW area that national media know--and apparently they rarely consult a map

Haha, my sister sent me that link this morning. She's determined it should be in our "10 year plan". I told her only if she happens to marry a Jonas Brother.

The data is skewed because according to the study, westlake only has 700 people in it, and if you have that much wealth packed in such a small foot print, it makes it a tough compare vs. more expensive/affulent towns in America who are bigger and have a lot more residents.

I worked at Fidelity and went driving around just to see the area. I always tell people about the big houses but I call them castles. It's a nice location, right next door to Southlake.

Fort Worth always flew under the radar, I think many people like to keep it that way. And to those who find out about the area, they understand, it's a nice place.
