I think we are going to get more than 1-3 inches of snow.

Yeah, if you add the sleet to the accumulating snow.......ummmm I am guessing 5 inches?

my cat wanted to go out at 1AM and that is when I saw my backyard--which was losing the accumulated sleety snow from past few days--
Now it is all fluffy white--but don't think we got more than an inch (except for drift) here in north part of Hurst

PS==he stayed outside all of 30 seconds probably

We have around 3 inches here and there's more on the way. It's dangerous out there, maybe even more so than the last few days. Why? Because there were ruts grooved in the sleet on the roads so that you could navigate the roads relatively easy (albeit sloooowly) but now the snow has covered up all of those ruts and now it's like driving blind not being able to find the ruts; they find YOU.
