Yay! I'll be there in two weeks! Just a quick question for anyone who might have an answer. Here, I have tons of hands to help pack, load, etc. There: just me and my ex-husband, and two kids who suddenly come down with some nasty exhaustion virus every time I ask them to do manual labor. LOL. Are there any college groups who provide manual labor for a price? There's something called Starving Students out here. I just need to hire a couple of warm bodies to help unload the truck. Unpacking I can do myself.

try craigs list
google for local community college in your area and get number for the financial aid or human relations office and ask--most colleges have job placement and also a board where people post short time job opportunities

Another option would be Firefighters! I've seen several trailers that advertise Firefighter movers, but can't think of their specific names at the moment

I've used H&E before for several moves. They are great, but not cheap. Home

I have also used some firefighters before and if you're interested, I will give you their cell numbers. Just message me. They are not any cheaper than H&E.

These are real movers. If you just want to pay some kids to help you move, I agree with what Loves2Read said....try craigs list or check the colleges. The last time I moved, I got a guy a couple of guys from our facilities services at work to help me. Maybe you could go that route too.
