i'm looking for a dentist in the Burleson or Mansfield area since they're about equal distance from me. it has been a long time since i've been to the dentist, probably over 35 years and i'm not ashamed to say i'm scared of them. since i have been paying for dental insurance for so many years i figure it's time i man up and start using it, plus a tooth is beginning to bother me.

anybody have a great reference for a dentist?

i'm a big baby about pain so let's take that in consideration.

thanks...

After putting off my own dental visit for longer than I should have, I went to one in Arlington last summer that almost made me want to wait 35 years to go back. He was a total creep and I wouldn't have recommended him to anyone.
I ended up not having the work done by him or any of the myriad of dentists he tried to refer me to & went to Dr. Holly Reineck in Burleson instead. She was very nice as were all of the assistants and receptionists. It's a 3 doctor practice and I've seen her father, Dr. Erickson, and would recommend him as well. It's right on the main strip in Burleson & from the outside, the building is nothing fancy.
If you're REALLY apprehensive and not into pain, you might look into sedation dentistry where they knock you out for everything. I think a friend of mine saw someone affiliated with Huguley Hospital in Burleson, but that may've been an oral surgeon.

Thank You, I will look into their practice and give them a try.
